It’s just been pointed out, I don’t know how long it’s been there. AT&T (which has apparently bought out everything under the sun) has included in it’s terms of service clauses that allow them to terminte your service if you are critical of them. AT&T may immediately terminate or suspend all or a portion of [ READ MORE ]
This morning, there was a disturbance in the world, as if a million cash registers suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. Halo 3 has been released. I don’t have it yet… I’m just passing the time until Eldest gets home to watch Emma. However, a peek at my XBox Live friends list: [ READ MORE ]
Now this IS nice news. Why is it better than iTunes, so far? It’s DRM-free. iTunes only offers EMI music as DRM-free. It’s MP3s. Meaning they can go in your choice of device, be it iPod, non-iPod player, cell phone. iTunes music must be played in an iPod, unless you burn them to an audio [ READ MORE ]
WordPress 2.3 has been released… it breaks my regular theme, so I’m installing a theme update and a wordpress upgrade all at once. Pardon the dust. Will edit once complete. [edit] Well, that was hair-raising. It’s all done now, though. As always, write me with problems. Or comment here[ READ MORE ]
OK. I had a major case of boredom today. Work was not very interesting. At home, Wifey (hereafter known as La Angela as our private joke) had a girls night out, Eldest and Boy went to see the Padres play the Rockies, and I had Emma for the night — fun until she tuckered out [ READ MORE ]

This was put in WordPress at a time when comment spam was atrocious (In [ READ MORE ]
This should have been posted last week. My apologies. We are in a new home, and if you can read this, all seems to be well. This is the home we were SUPPOSED to have last year after leaving Blogomania, but right before we pulled the trigger, a deal came up at Dreamhost that I [ READ MORE ]
I’m kinda bummed. I happened on this totally by chance after thinking to myself that I needed to blog something. James Oliver Rigney Jr., an author who went by the penname Robert Jordan, died today at the age of 58. From Wikipedia, the cause stated is primary amyloidosis with cardiomyopathy (cardiac amyloidosis). I have no [ READ MORE ]
I have been a bad blogger. In July, I read a post on boingboing that offered a free copy of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction digest if I would only blog about it. I jumped… free is free, right? A $4.50 value, too, for just a few minutes of my time. I received [ READ MORE ]
