Apparently my webhost (or rather, the people he rents HIS server from) decided I was “portscanning port 110.” How you “portscan” a single port is beyond me — if all I’m hitting is port 110, it would stand to reason that I’M TRYING TO GET MY FREAKING EMAIL. That’s beside the point, however.
Anyway, it was el-sucko, but it was resolved when I got all my shit together. I was seriously looking into blog-o-mania as an alternative, for a minute. I think if rackshack keeps up this level of paranoia, I might look a little closer at them. No slam on jeremy at nitid.net, just… rackshack.
