Stuff I’ve been saving for a post, and am tired of waiting anymore:
- I’ve shifted to Google reader. Bloglines has a couple of bugs that bother the snot out of me.
- University Presses are being left behind by the digital era.
- How to work almost completely online. I don’t know if I trust it, but I’m intrigued…
- Klingons crossing the Delaware. (dial-up users beware.)
- Wal-Mart ditches DRM’d music; still doesn’t sell uncensored versions. This has always been slightly bothersome; I can buy movies and TV shows with violence, naughty language, and “naughty bits” (like every season of The Sopranos), but I can’t buy uncensored Eminem, for instance. But for those interested, EMI and Universal are selling 256KBps MP3s on Wal-mart’s music store. (Line of the day: “DRM isn’t dead yet but it has a nasty, hacking cough.”)
- Hoo, hoo, hoo!
- Yarrrrr!
